Sage 100 comes in several variations based on your business type, although it’s an accounting system generally preferred by mid to enterprise level businesses. Previously known as MAS 90 and MAS 200, Sage 100 handles a high level of inventory and accounting functions, with additional features to assist with automation.
Integrating Sage
We’ve worked with numerous clients integrating their website with their Sage system, and in each case the Sage API via Data had the ability to do tight system integrations. Or, to process files via standard formats on a schedule.
Our Experience with Sage
We have successfully integrated MAS 90 and MAS 200 (now Sage 100) with Magento® eCommerce for several clients. Both websites wanted to upgrade their website without losing the functionality of their accounting systems. In one case, Sage payment systems were acting as back-end connections between the CRM and website, processing subscriptions that were initiated on the website. In another case, our client used a Sage gateway to pass orders and commerce transactions for a UK store. In another, the website passed high-volumes of post-order data in a nightly batch into Sage for accounting purposes (as a record-keeping and reporting system).
